Helico-centrifugal apparatus. -Fluid is circulated through spirally coiled tubes 30 to which one rotary motion is imparted about an axis X-X<1> and another rotary motion about an axis Y-Y<1>. A series of inlet and outlet pipes 32, 33 for the spiral tubes 30 register periodically with ports in the fixed plates 34 communicating with the suction and discharge pipes 37, 37<1>.
