Abstract
155,213. Neyret, J. Dec. 10, 1920. Shutters with pivoted blades.-The blades of a diaphragm shutter are in pairs, a smaller size of blade being thus possible to reduce inertia.. One member S, Fig. 3<a> of each pair is pivoted at o to the casing and controlled by a rotating ring c through a link f. The other members s complete the closing of the aperture and each member s pivots on the first member S and is connected to the casing by a link e. These members s have a larger displacement. The exposure is effected by the continuous movement of the ring C in either direction, the setting lever L, Fig. 11, being moved to tension one or other of the spring arms r<1> or r<2> against pins 5 on the ring. The release mechanism is oscillatorily mounted on the shutter. The flexible release D is connected to an oscillating socket 7 by a coupling 6, and the release trigger y can thus be operated in any position of the socket y. The operating ring C rotates on rollers 10, Fig. 8, on the inner facing of the casing A. Instead of actuating the blades S through connecting links f, the ring C may have slotted lugs engaging pins on these blades.
