Abstract

In order to produce mouldings or coatings based on epoxide compounds and ureas, novel ureas of the formula <IMAGE> are employed in which n = 0 or a positive integer, and R is a divalent hydrocarbon radical which is free from aromatic rings and is optionally substituted, or is a divalent hydrocarbon radical whose free valences are both derived from aromatic carbon atoms and which are optionally substituted. The use of these ureas brings, in particular, the advantage of an improved shelf life.
