Abstract

The time piece allows the current time, day and month in several time zones around the world to be displayed. The time piece has a counting circuit, which counts seconds, minutes, hours, days and months after the reception of a signal from a pulsed oscillator. A time-shift control circuit for changing the date of the last day of a given month to the first day of the next month according to the calendar permits the display of a special symbol in order to indicate that the day of the selected region is a last day of the preceding month. This has dispensed in an uncomplicated way with the determination of the last day of the preceding month and simplified the circuit of the time piece. <IMAGE>
