Abstract

The time piece allows the current time, day and month in several time zones around the world to be displayed. The time piece has a counting circuit, which counts seconds, minutes, hours, days and months after the reception of a signal from a pulsed oscillator. A time-shift control circuit for changing the date of the last day of a given month to the first day of the next month according to the calendar permits the display of a special symbol in order to indicate that the day of the selected region is a last day of the preceding month.
