1536907 Screw turning devices F T HATCHER and A S LAMBURN 22 June 1977 [24 June 1976] 26293/76 Heading B3N A device for applying torque to a screwthreaded fastener, such as wheel nut 19, comprises a support member 10 for engaging the ground or other surface, a torque applying member 14 rotatably supported on member 10 and a lever 16, which may be detachable, for rotating member 14. The end of member 14 may be located in any of a number of holes 12, 13 in member 10 and may have a peripheral groove. The member 10 may be mounted on a base 11 and may bear against the car body or other parts by means of bracket 17 which may be adjustable and have a cushioning surface. In Fig. 3 support member 20 comprises two hinged parts 21, 22 with holes 23.
