Abstract

The adjustable axle comprises an axle support (3) provided with an angled upper face. This is used in conjunction with a replaceable wedge (6) which is inserted between this support and the underside of the board (1). The wedge permits the wheelbase of the skateboard to be altered and enables different size wheels (5) to be used. The axle block is also mounted on a pivot arm, held between thick rubber washers forming dampers around a central pivot. The lower end of the pivot is screwed into a boss on the axle support and allows tracking of the wheels.
