Abstract

1536539 Brake valve assemblies GIRLING Ltd 5 Jan 1976 [13 Jan 1975] 1421/75 Heading F2F A twin valve assembly comprises a unitary load transmitting element 6 which bears directly on respective value operating plungers 2, 3 and at 7 against a fixed fulcrum point. The fixed fulcrum may be engaged by a lug 7 of the element 6 or may be a projection from the housing. As shown the valve units are pressure limiting, proportioning or intensifying values and a ridge 8 of the element is engaged by an arm 5 of a member 4 which is rotated in the housing in response to variations of load on a vehicle rear axle.
