1536430 Heat transfers E T MARLER Ltd 15 March 1976 [3 April 1975] 13792/75 Heading B6C In a method of transferring an ink design from a carrier sheet to a receptor sheet a heatactivatable adhesive polymer composition is applied over the ink design on the carrier sheet, which composition includes at least one liquid component which reduces the adhesive bond of the design to the carrier sheet at least at the transfer temperature. The heat-sensitive adhesive is generally a vinyl plastisol which may be dried if the transfer sheet is to be stored, or used immediately in the liquid state.
