Abstract

1536422 Processing tissue specimens SHANDON SOUTHERN PRODUCTS Ltd 30 March 1976 [8 Jan 1975] 844/75 Heading G2J Tissue specimens are dehydrated and cleansed by successive exposure to an appropriate vapour which condenses on the specimen, drips off and is recycled. Each different treatment liquid can be caused to boil at the same temperature by controlling the pressure in the apparatus which is provided accordingly with separate baths at least one being sealed from the atmosphere. The apparatus also includes a wax impregnating bath and means for transferring the specimens.
