Abstract

1536314 Sheet handling GRAPHA-HOLDING AG 25 Nov 1976 [1 Dec 1975] 49268/76 Heading B8R A sheet conveying apparatus comprises a pair of endless chains 60 which carry folded, printed sheets B to an inclined lifting blade 50 which directs the sheets B between pairs of inclined rollers 7, 8 from whence the sheets B follow a guide 83 and are deposited on a conveyer 10, there being provided a cylindrical transmission member 11 which contacts and thereby drives the lifting rollers 8 and is driven by a roller 101 which supports the conveyer 10 thus smoothing sheet delivery. Member 11 has a resilient outer surface. A cam on a support shaft of the endless chains 60 periodically actuates the lifting blade against a spring to give an upward and forward motion to the sheets.
