1536222 Anti perspirant composition PROCTER & GAMBLE CO 16 March 1976 [17 March 1975] 10481/76 Heading A5B A substantially anhydrous antiperspirant composition comprises (A) from 10% to 30% of an alcohol-soluble complex which is the reaction product of an astringent antiperspirant salt and a polyhydric alcohol, the molar ratio of polyhydric alcohol to astringent salt in said complex being from 1:1 to 6:1. (B) from 1% to 30% of a volatile alcohol soluble polydimethylsiloxane having a viscositv in the range of from 0.5 to 4.6 cs at 25‹C and a flash point of less than 180‹F, and (C) from 45% to 75% ethyl alcohol.
