1535421 Stabilized polyester moulding and coating compositions CHEMISCHE WERKE HULS AG 24 Feb 1976 [25 Feb 1975] 07178/76 Heading C3P A stable polyester moulding or coating composition comprises (a) an unsaturated polyester, (b) a vinyl or vinylidene monomer copolymerizable with (a), (c) a tertiary aromatic amine which may be condensed with (a), (d) a stabilizer and (e) 0À1 to 6% based on the weight of (a) plus (b) of a C 1 -C 24 primary or secondary aliphatic amine soluble in (a) plus (b). The examples describe the curing with addition of benzoyl peroxide of aged compositions comprising an unsaturated polyester derived from phthalic anhydride, propane diol and dipropylene glycol or maleic anhydride, styrene, N,N - bis - hydroxyethylparatoluidine, hydroquinone and/or toluhydroquinone and one of ethyl, propyl and butyl primary amines, diethyl, dipropyl, dibutyl and diethylhexylamine a tallow fatty amine and a C 21 diamine.
