1534612 Calibrating dynamometers NI I KONSTRUKT INST ISPYTATEL MASHIN PRIBOROV I SREDSTV IZMERE MASS NIKIMP 23 Nov 1976 48812/76 Heading G1W An apparatus for calibrating a dynamometer 16 comprises two frames 2, 6 one of which is movable relative to the other to apply a force to the test dynamometer 16, a first means 9, 11 for applying via a master dynamometer 15 or by a set of standard weights, Fig. 2 (not shown), a test force to dynamometer 16, and second means 12, 14 for applying to the dynamometer 16 a force equal to the test force applied via the master dynamometer or by the standard weights while the master dynamometer is relieved or the standard weights removed, the first means being arranged to apply in a subsequent step further force to the dynamometer 16 via the master dynamometer or by the standard weights which is additive to the force applied by the second means.
