Abstract

1534601 Jet propulsion engines DEFENCE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 22 July 1977 [23 July 1976] 30854/76 Heading F1J A jet thruster unit, e.g. for controlling space vehicles, comprises a tube 2 electrically heated by coils 3 and containing an injector 8 which directs hydrazine through the central passage 9 of a platinum gauge heat exchanger 7 to impinge against a plate 6, the partially decomposed hydrazine then passing through passages 10 and further gauges 4 to propulsion nozzle 1.
