1534001 Adhesive compositions based on ethylene copolymers IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 9 Feb 1976 [25 Feb 1975 (2)] 7787/75 and 7788/75 Heading C3M An adhesive composition comprises (a) a thermoplastic copolymer of ethylene and a C 3 -C 9 ethylenically unsaturated ester (b) 0À1 to 13% by weight of an olefine polymer grafted with one or more ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or anhydrides and (c) of a non-oxidizing acid. The exemplified composition comprises an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polypropylene grafted with maleic anhydride, a phthalic anhydride, paraffin wax, polyethylene of two different viscosities, an ester of hydrogenated wood rosin and antioxidant.
