1532876 De-tinning scrap WIDNES SCRAP METAL CO Ltd 4 Aug 1977 [17 Aug 1976] 34093/76 Heading C7D Tin plate is de-tinned by immersion in sulphuric acid. The process may be carried out in two stages using a first bath of diluted commercial concentrated sulphuric acid followed by a second bath of higher concentration; the de-tinned scrap may then subjected to a masking step.
