1532821 Cooling filaments BARMAG BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AG 7 Jan 1976 [11 Jan 1975] 00474/76 Heading B5B Filaments 5 of polymeric material are extruded vertically downwards from a spinneret having closely spaced spinning orifices in plate 2, and are cooled immediately after extrusion by a flow of coolant 8 directed from nozzle 6 at an angle to the horizontal which flow is heated as it passes through the filament bundle and is deflected to the spinneret by plate 3 and optionally further deflected by another plate 4 fixed to the base of the spinneret.
