1532239 Anti-ulcer compositions containing 4-aminothiazole derivatives JOHN WYETH & BRO Ltd 4 Nov 1976 [18 Nov 1975 28 May 1976] 47481/75 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical compositions containing compounds I in which R<SP>1</SP> is H, C 1-6 alkyl or phenyl R is H, C 1-4 alkyl (optionally substituted by Cl, Br, CF 3 , MeO, EtO, OH or CN) C 2-4 alkenyl, C 2-4 alkynyl or cyclopropyl R<SP>3</SP> is H or COR<SP>4</SP> and R<SP>4</SP> is as defined for R have anti-ulcer and anti-secretory activity. The compositions may be administered orally and may contain antacid ingredients (AL(OH) 3 , Mg(OH) 2 , Bi CO 3 , Ca CO 3 , Na H CO 3 aluminium glycurate, magnesium trisilicate or an alumina gel).
