Abstract

1531146 Air-flow measurement CAMBRIDGE FILTER CORP 21 Sept 1976 39070/76 Heading G1R Flow measuring apparatus comprises, a duct and total and static pressure sensors 30, 32 connected to separate manifolds 10, 12, 16, 18 the probes being arranged at the centres of equal area segments in planes transverse to the duct areas. Static pressure is sensed by openings 34 in U-tubes 32. The arrangements are described in Specification 1531145. In a further embodiment for use in a circular duct, pairs of static and total pressure manifolds are arranged diametrically across the duct offset at 45 degrees.
