1530879 Device for applying adhesive tape to bag necks LEIFHEIT INTERNATIONAL GUNTER LEIFHEIT GmbH 24 May 1977 [28 June 1976] 21893/77 Heading B8C Apparatus for applying an adhesive tape 10 to a twisted bag neck has a flat casing composed of two substantially identical shell-like parts 30 which are interconnected by a plurality of pairs of co-operating projections (33), 34, one projection (33) of each pair engaging within the other projection with a press fit, some of the projections also serving to mount a recessed wheel 19 and a leaf spring 22 which together applies the tape to a bag, a pivotal knife 27 which cuts the tape and a spring 29 which biases the knife. Projections 33 have roughened surfaces.
