Abstract

1530443 Television systems PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 18 July 1977 [21 July 1976] 30016/77 Heading H4F A circuit for scanning an image with a scan pattern formed from Lissajous figures in a camera 14 employing oscillating strips to provide the scan, e.g. an endoscope camera as described in Specification 1,410,903, includes a generator 1 providing an electrical signal whose frequency is controlled by a temperature sensor 2 located by the camera to compensate for temperature-dependent changes of the resonant frequencies of the strips. The signal is applied to two paths, each comprising a frequency divider 4, 5, a low pass filter 6, 7 and a phase shifter 8, 9. The phase shifter outputs are added 19 and passed to a coil 21 in the camera to oscillate the strips. The video signal from the camera is applied to a display 13. The outputs of the filters 6, 7 control the deflection of the display. The phase shifters 8, 9 compensate for phase shifts in the circuit. A further phase shifter 11 adjusts the relationship of the deflection signals applied to the display.
