Abstract

1530190 Curing rubbers SANYO TRADING CO Ltd 13 Dec 1976 [27 Dec 1975 23 April 1976] 51942/76 Heading C3E and C3R Selected rubbers are cured in the presence of sulphur or a sulphur donor and, as a vulcanization accelerator not requiring an activator, one of a number of specified amino acids or salts thereof. Examples are given in which the rubber is butadiene-styrene rubber, butadieneacrylonitrile rubber, polybutadiene, acrylonitrile-isoprene rubber, natural rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene-isoprene rubber, carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, polyisoprene, butadiene-methyl methacrylate rubber, propylene oxide rubber or butadiene-propylene rubber.
