1529980 Ratchet mechanism SIEMENS AG 2 Dec 1975 [4 Dec 1974] 49539/75 Heading F2Q A turbine shaft rotating device comprises a ratchet wheel 3 secured to a turbine shaft 1 and a vertically reciprocable rod 6 having pivotally attached to its lower end a frame 10 carrying a rod 13 which is adapted to engage the ratchet teeth on upward movement of rod 6 causing clockwise rotation of ratchet wheel 3. The rod 6 may be reciprocated by manual operation of a pivoted lever 8 or, alternatively, it may be hydraulically operated.
