Abstract
N<6>-substituted adenosines of the following formula <IMAGE> in which the substituents R1, R2 and R3 are defined in Claim 1, and Z is a sugar residue with a phosphoric acid residue bonded via one or two hydroxyl groups in the same molecule or via two hydroxyl groups in different molecules, are prepared. The compounds are obtained by reacting a corresponding 6-trialkylsilyloxypurine derivative, in which the free hydroxyl groups of the sugar and of the phosphoric ester have undergone intermediate silylation, with ammonia or with an appropriate primary or secondary amine. The resulting compounds can be used as agents with antiproliferative and cardiovascular activity.
