Abstract

1529459 Outboard drive units W BROWN 16 March 1977 [16 Dec 1975] 51510/75 Heading B7V An outboard drive unit which is mounted on a transom to permit turning and tilting is provided with an input drive gear 11 and an output driven gear 15 and three intermediate cylindrical idler gears 12, 13 and 14. The arrangement is said to allow for greater power transmission without a corresponding increase in dimenisons.
