Abstract

1528558 Guiding lifts TOWMOTOR CORP 11 March 1977 [9 July 1976] 10395/77 Heading B8L [Also in Division B7] A lift truck mast incorporates two relatively slidable members, one of which comprises a beam 12 and the other of which comprises a roller assembly having a tread portion 45 rolling on flange 16 of the beam, an axle 47, bearing means 54 including an inner race 64 axially movable on the axle, and a resilient element 80 urging the inner race along the axle and the tread portion axially into engagement with the web of the beam. The resilient element may by a wavy spring washer or a plastic, or elastomeric compressible ring (88) (Fig. 4, not shown). As illustrated there are two beams, and two roller assemblies associated with each beam.
