1528394 Loud-speaker enclosures Z M ZENKTELER 27 Feb 1978 [4 Sept 1975] 36420/75 Headings H4J and H4X A loud-speaker enclosure in a room has vents in its front wall substantially at any one or any two or any three or all four of the sets of distances D/2 and D/3, D/3 and D/5, d1/2 and d1/3, d2/2 and d2/3 where D is the distance between the floor and the ceiling, d1 is the distance from the floor to the centre of the loud-speaker and d2 is the distance from the ceiling to the centre of the loud-speaker. Other vents may be at distances D/6, D/7... d1/4, d1/5 ... d2/4, d2/5. The enclosure may be a reflex enclosure, a column, a pipe closed at one end, a horn or a baffle. The loud-speaker may be mounted in the enclosure vertically, horizontally or at an angle.
