Abstract

1526725 Door frame CATNIC COMPONENTS Ltd 11 Sept 1975 [23 Sept 1974 2 June 1975] 41345/74 and 23796/75 Heading E1J Channel sectioned head 34 jambs 1 are secured together by clips 106, 107 on the ends of the head 3, the brackets including a downwardly open resilient clip 114 for gripping the web of an adjacent jamb 1. The clips may be generally L-shaped, Fig. 5 (not shown) with one limb welded to the head and the other limb having a turned over portion forming the clip. Alternatively the clips may be generally channel sectioned having struck-out tabs retentively engaged in apertures in the upstanding legs of brackets 106, 107 welded to the heads. The lower ends of the jambs 1, 2 are initially spaced by W-sectioned tie-bars 8, 9 which are a push fit in brackets 11 clipped to the jambs. Reference is made under Section 8(1) to Specification 1484123.
