1526504 Photographic processing apparatus R A PAYNE and C E PLANT 7 July 1977 [9 July 1976] 28687/76 Heading G2X An apparatus for washing or treating a coil 17 of photographic or other image producing film comprises a tank 11 in which the coil can be inserted, the tank having a closed end-wall, a curved internal surface 12 and an inlet passage 13 for washing or treatment liquid which opens into the interior of the tank at or adjacent the closed end, the direction of the passage being such that liquid under pressure flows through the tank along a helical path and causes the coil of film to rotate. The length of the tank may be increased by one or more extension units so that more than one coil may be processed simultaneously.
