Abstract

1526095 Drying laundry LICENTIA PATENT VERWALTUNGS GmbH 19 Sept 1975 [21 Sept 1974 29 Jan 1975] 38592/75 Heading F4G [Also in Division D1] A laundry drum 1 is rotatably mounted in a washing liquid container 2. The washing liquid is heated by heater 3 and the laundry dried by heater 4. A double-walled section of container 2 forms a packet 7 through which water flows from inlet 9 to cool condensation surface 6. Water flows from pocket 7 via line 16 into pocket 8 preventing heater 4 overheating container 2. The closed circuit includes a heat exchanger 19, a pump 25 and means 21 for making up water losses.
