Abstract
1525800 Caliper disc brakes MAGIRUSDEUTZ AG 10 Nov 1976 [12 Nov 1975] 46809/76 Heading F2E Two diametrically opposed calipers 10 housing respective pairs of pads 9, 9a engageable with disc 5, whose outer periphery is secured to flanges 4, 4a on wheel hub 2, are mounted in an axially floating and circumferentially fixed manner on a carrier 15. The mounting is effected by extension arms 16 on the pads which slidably receive pins 17 fixed to the carrier and the pads are applied by pistons 11, either hydraulically or mechanically (via a cable). The two calipers are connected by a strut 20.
