Abstract

1525728 Flash units GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 19 Sept 1975 [4 Nov 1974 5 May 1975] 38503/75 Heading G2X A multiple flash-lamp array has a circuit board having switching circuitry on one side for sequentially firing the lamps, and a conductive shield parallel and adjacent to the other side. The flashlamp array (17) Fig. 1 (not shown) and the circuit board are as described and shown in Specification 1525726. The shield 70 may be as disclosed in Specification 1525727, but instead of being formed on the back of the circuit board it is separated from it. It may be a conductive foil or a metallized paper sheet 74, 75. Conductive eyelets 81 pass through the circuit board with one end in contact with a ground circuit run and the other end touching foil 75, so that the latter acts as a grounded shield. This may also carry indicia on the back.
