Abstract

1525068 Storing radioactively contaminated articles KRAFTWERK UNION AG 6 Oct 1976 [16 Oct 1975] 41601/76 Heading G6R A radioactively contaminated article is prepared for storage by drying at 100‹-200‹ C. and then pouring hot bitumen over it in a container, the pouring taking place during a period of at least 30 minutes. The process may be applied to filters or assemblies of filters which have been used in nuclear power plant for purifying coolant.
