Abstract

1524317 Cooling apparatus SOUTHERN & REDFERN Ltd 19 April 1977 [25 May 1976] 21595/76 Heading F4H In apparatus for cooling products e.g. poultry, the products are conveyed through a cooling chamber by a conveyer comprising two spaced apart endless roller chains between which a plenum chamber is positioned to direct cooled air therefrom on to the products in mutually inclined jets 21, 22, 23 by means of spaced elongate slot members 17 supported in an open framework. Each member is an elongate rectangular sheet having flanges 18, 19 formed on one side by bending the longitudinal edges to a plane inclined to the sheet and to any perpendicular to the sheet, adjacent sheets thereby providing slots 20.
