Abstract

1524298 Elevator control system NIPPON OTIS ELEVATOR CO and MEIDENSHA KK 26 March 1976 [3 April 1975 1 Sept 1975 (2)] 12319/76 Heading G3N An elevator control system causes a lift cage 10 to follow a predetermined speed reduction pattern, set by circuit 30, to stop the cage at a floor. A retarding instruction switch S 1 and a position check switch S2 are provided for each floor. The latter lies at a reference point a predetermined distance from the stopping position and the speed pattern is corrected in accordance with an error obtained by comparing, in comparator 36, a reference velocity from circuit 30 and an actual speed measured by tachometer 24 connected to elevator drive motor 22. The error is fed to memory circuit 40 to adjust circuit 30. Comparator 32 measures the difference between the actual speed and the speed pattern from circuit 30 and circuit 48 uses this difference to control motor speed. This is intended to give a smoother ride during stopping. In another embodiment Fig. 2B (not shown) the comparator 36 compares outputs of units 38 and 30.
