Abstract

1523403 Corner/edge protectors ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd 20 May 1977 [12 June 1976 13 July 1976] 24437/76 and 28990/76 Heading B8C A fitting for protecting corners and edges of a panel or stack of panels comprises a pair of shoes 12 connected to a rigid tie member 11, each shoe comprising one end wall 13, a pair of opposed side walls 15 and a base wall 14 hinged to a first layer 17 of the tie member which has one or more further layers 24, 25 extending into the shoes to limit rotation thereof. The filling may be formed from a single blank of fibre board or plastics which may be corrugated.
