Abstract

1523038 Decapeptide SOC FARMACEUTICI KALIANA SpA 13 June 1977 [16 June 1976] 24961/76 Heading C3H [Also in Division C2] H - Pyroglu - Gln - Asp - Tyr - Thr - Gly- Trp - Nle - Asp - Phe - NH2 wherein the hydroxyl of Tyr is optionally protected by sulphate radical; and/or the hydroxyl of Thr is optionally protected by an acetyl radical; and the non-toxic, pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof with an inorganic base or organic base. Decapeptides of the invention prepared are: H - Pyroglu - Gln - Asp - Tyr(R1) - Thr(R2). Gly - Trp - Nle - Asp - Phe - NH2 wherein R1 is H and R2 is Ac, R1 is SO3H and R<2> is Ac, R1 is SO3H and R2 is H. Peptide intermediates isolated are: PENTAPEPTIDES: Z - Pyroglu - Gln- Asp(OBzl) - Tyr - Thr(Ac) - NHNHZ ; H - Pyroglu - Gln - Asp Tyr - Thr(Ac) - NHNH2; Boc and H-Gly-Trp-Nle-Asp-Phe-NH2. TETRAPEPTIDES: Boc and H - Gln- Asp(OBzl) - Tyr - Thr(Ac) - NHNHZ; Z - Trp- Nle - Asp(OBzl) - Phe - NH2; H - Trp - Nle- Asp-Phe-NH2. TRIPEPTIDES: Boc and H Asp(OBzl)- Tyr - Thr(Ac) - NHNHZ; Boc and H - Nle- Asp(OBzl)-Phe-NH2. DIPEPTIDES: Boc and H - Tyr - Thr(Ac) - NHNHZ; Boc and H-Asp(OBzl)-Phe-NH2.
