1523003 Monitoring micro-wave energy H L HARTNAGEL 19 Nov 1976 [10 Jan 1976] 01439/76 Heading G1U [Also in Division H1] A micro-wave sensor comprising a film whose surface resistivity is selected so that it absorbs significant energy and thereby increases in temperature is made more sensitive by attaching in thermoconducting relationship, a device which has a high temperature coefficient of a parameter, which is sensed. Various materials are disclosed for the insulating substrate 9, absorbing film 11, temperature sensitive device 13 and contacts 16, 17. The sensor may be planar or cylindrical.
