Abstract

Heading G5C An emergency display device for use by disabled persons consists of a banner wound on to a cylinder in the manner of a roller blind, the banner unwinding due to a weighted end when a release pin is withdrawn from the cylinder. The pin is attached to a cord led by screw-eyes to the hand of the user. The banner is mounted above a window and carries a call for help.
