Abstract

1521771 Mounting plate for load handling attachments BURGREEN Ltd 20 April 1976 [28 Jan 1975] 2414/75 Heading B8H A mounting plate for mounting various implements, e.g. buckets, forks, crane jib on the arms of a mobile mechanical handling vehicle comprises a frame 2, 7 to which are mounted two upper pairs of lugs 10 and two lower pairs of lugs 11 for attachment to the tilting and lifting arms respectively of the vehicle. A pair of abutment surfaces 15 are provided adjacent the upper edge of the frame for engagement by hooks (23), Fig. 2 (not shown) attached to or forming part of the implement and a pair of horizontally slidable bolts 12 are provided adjacent the lower edge of the frame to engage a pair of apertures (25) in or attached to the implement. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 7 (not shown), the frame is provided with a pair of hooks to engage with an abutment on the implement. Various adaptor plates, Figs. 2, 4, 8 and 9 (not shown), are described for attachment to an implement for its mounting on the mounting plate.
