Abstract

1521661 Testing lamps &c BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AG 21 Jan 1977 [24 Jan 1976] 02589/77 Heading G1U Lamps 8, 9 may be jointly tested when unlit by a circuit connecting the bases of respective transistors 11, 12 to earth 10 therethrough, the collectors and emitters being inter-connected in series between battery potential 5 [via a test switch 4, or an ignition switch or door switch] and an indicating circuit 13-15. Photo-diodes 22, 23 may be paralleled with the lamps to permit testing when the lamps are lit.
