1520949 Capacitive switches ING C OLIVETTI & C SpA 9 Nov 1976 [19 Nov 1975] 46626/76 Heading H1M In a key-actuated capacitive switch, the capacitor dielectric material comprises a phenolic, polyamide, epoxy, vinyl, nitrile or acrylic resin containing an antistatic agent to minimize errors due to turboelectric effects. The dielectric may be photosensitive and may be the cured portion remaining in a substrative process for forming the capacitor electrodes.
