Abstract

1520322 Band filters TROX GmbH Gebr 12 Jan 1976 [11 Jan 1975] 01041/76 Heading BIT A band filter comprises open ended housing 1 which, in use, forms part of an air ventilation duct the housing 1 containing a supply reel 2, a take-up reel 3 and a guide grid 7 held in grooves 8, and having a door 1b through which the grid and reels may be removed from the housing. As shown the filter has a support grid 11, grid 7 is foldable, reel 2 is held by a holder 10 comprising a plurality of clips, and reel 3 is mounted on bracket 4 attached to door 1b and is driven by motor 5. The filter band 6 engages the sides of the housing 1 to form seals therewith and is intermittently moved when the pressure drop across it reaches a certain value. Reel 2 may be held by two brackets.
