Abstract

1520184 Coating surfaces METCO INC 30 June 1976 [30 July 1975] 27182/76 Heading B2E [Also in Divisions C3 and C7] Surfaces may be coated by flame-spraying with a flexible wire comprising a mineral powder having a particle size of less than 140 U.S. Standard mesh and from 5 to 75% by total volume of a polyurethane or epoxy resin as binder. The flame-spraying will decompose the wire binder. Suitably the mineral powder carries on its surface a layer of surface-active resin e.g. a silicone resin.
