1519294 Ice cream UNILEVER Ltd 26 June 1975 [26 March 1974 15 July 1974 (2)] 11161/75 31266/74 and 31267/74 Divided out of 1508437 Heading A2B Ice cream contains as stabilisers agar agar and a galactomannon gum e.g. locust bean, tara or guar gum. Preferred quantities are 0.05 to 0.15% agar agar, 0.05 to 0.15% galactomannon, the total amount being at least 0.15% and the ratio being 1:1 to 1:3. A soluble maltodextrin of DE less than 20 may be included. Sorbitol or glycerol may also be present as freezing point depressants.
