1518341 Carbon bodies ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 23 May 1975 [13 Sept 1974] 22443/75 Heading C1A [Also in Divisions H2 and C3] A slip ring for electrical machines is manufactured from a mixture containing carbon, a binder, and optionally metal powder, the binder being an aromatic polymer free from cross-linking in which the aromatic nuclei are unsubstituted and linked by a C-C bond, or by a hetero atom, or by a hetero atom grouping. A preferred binder is a polyarylsulphide of the formula: e.g. polyphenylsulphide.
