Abstract

1518111 Preventing turbulence in tank filling SUN OIL CO OF PENNSYLVANIA 10 June 1975 [3 Oct 1974] 24784/75 Addition to 1420042 Heading B8T [Also in Division G3] The porous body of Parent Specification is modified by slitting it parallel to its upper and lower planar faces so as to form substantially equal upper and lower portions 9a, b which are joined at the centre 63 of their respective lower and upper surfaces. The retrorse cords pass through a ring handle which is positioned within a slit 64 in the upper face of portion 9a. They extend through the upper portion to its periphery where they are looped back to the centre.
