1517890 Re-securing divots P A BACKMAN 17 March 1977 [18 March 1976] 11436/77 Heading A1E [Also in Divisions A6 and F2] A device for pinning a divot back into position on a golf course comprises at least one spike 1, 3 and one or more horizontal arms 2, the device being made of a plastics that disintegrates under the effect of ground humidity in a relatively short time. In one form a spike may be formed by a golf tee, the arms being provided on a collar sliding on the shank of the tee and retained by its head. In another form a central spike 1 is pivoted to radial arms so that it can be brought into the plane of the arms for packaging.
