1516691 Colour contrast photographic silver halide material MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 11 June 1975 [11 June 1974] 25067/75 Heading G2C A photographic material, for use in radiography, comprises a support and at least 2 negative silver halide emulsion layers one of the layers comprising an emulsion reactively associated with a colourless cyan-forming coupler, and the other, or another. layer comprising an emulsion reactively associated with a coloured coupler having a reactive methylene or methine in its coupling position and having its colour uniparting group attached to the reactive methylene or methine thereof through a splitting- off link, the coloured coupler upon colour development with a p-phenylenediamine developer forming a positive image whose colour contrasts with the negative cyan image, each of the silver halide emulsion layers in the photographic material being sensitive to blue or green light.
